Hybrid Document Storage
200K+ uploads, 500K+ retrievals — re-architected to AKS + Kafka for 30+ portals.
BackendDevSecOpscross-domain
Led the re-architecture of a document-storage service used across 30+ enterprise portals — migrating from a VM- and NAS-coupled design to a scalable AKS-based distributed architecture. The service has processed 200K+ file uploads and served 500K+ retrieval requests through high-throughput ingestion, storage, and retrieval APIs.
Introduced Kafka-based async processing to decouple API services from on-prem storage, improving resilience and failure isolation, and designed hybrid cloud + on-prem patterns that keep the system serving during network tunnel failures.
